Jordan Vauvert Loving... premier jet de Ser extrêmement touchant, ne serait-ce que par la pochette, ce croquis en noir et blanc (étrange forme : un piano à queue ? un arbre ?), avec le nom du groupe et de l'album écrit à la main. Si j'aborde la présence éventuelle du piano sur la pochette, c'est aussi parce que c'est cet instrument à cordes frappées qui domine : "Te Amo", la pierre angulaire, est un long solo plein d'un spleen déchirant qui s'étend sur 10 minutes ; on trouve parfois un black atmo très triste. Favorite track: Light.

I've been slowing working my way through Sadness' discography and it's crazy how he makes "depressive" black metal sound so beautiful. It's like the frigidness of early Coldworld mixed with the dreamy and lighter parts of Alcest. This one is the best I've heard from this band so far. Ryan

Sur Greyness of a Young Despondency, on sent encore que Damián Antón Ojeda est sur un début de carrière par le côté résolument franc de son black metal dépressif. Ce n'est pas tant la subtilité (et encore que : quand on écoute "Untitled III", il y a de quoi nuancer le propos...) qui est importante que l'authenticité de ce désespoir qui nous est craché à la gueule, encore plus sur "...And Hurting Colors" dont le but est de nous détruire émotionnellement.
